A special note:

My photography took on a much deeper meaning to me after I lost my mother this year. After my mother's passing, I was happy to find a few family photos. Even though my parents took a lot of candid shots, we didn’t have a beautiful legacy family portrait with my sisters and my parents taken by a professional photographer and printed large enough to see everyone's eyes and expression. The photos I found were yellowed and faded and stored in boxes. Nothing larger than a 8x10! I have always believed in the power of portraits, but now I understand what this means. (My mother and grandmother pictured above).
